London?s most famous landmarks are to be used as the glamorous backdrop in the latest video filmed by NBA trick shot specialist Kyle Singler.
Detroit Pistons rookie Singler has become an internet sensation in the United States after releasing video of his amazing ability to sink a basketball from a wide variety of jaw-dropping heights and angles.
His first YouTube efforts were filmed when he was a star at college powerhouse Duke, but he recently delighted fans by adding a new package of tricks with Detroit landmarks as the backdrop.
Now the 28-year-old forward is in London with the Pistons to play the New York Knicks in a regular season NBA game at the 02 on Thursday, which will be screened live on Sky Sports 1 and in 3D.
The Oregon-born player said of his trick shots: ?It started off when I was at Duke and then I did a trick shot video here in Detroit which was really exciting as it turned out pretty well. I would love to do another one when we are in London.
?I?m not sure how it would work out, we would probably go round the city and try to make some crazy shots at places like the London Eye and Trafalgar Square. I?ve been to London twice before and done all the tourist things with friends so I have a good feel for the city.
?Some of the shots come pretty easily and there are a few lucky ones. The longest to get right has taken about half and hour, you just need the right plan.?
