WINOOSKI, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont Student Assistance Corp. is holding a free day of workshops for students to plan for college.
Three college pathways programs will be held in March and April. VSAC's also offering a remote option for families who are unable to attend.
The program includes workshops on picking colleges, writing a college application essay that stands out and demystifying financial aid.
The first session will be held March 16 at St. Michael's College. A second session will take place at Castleton State College on March 23. That event also will include a remote option via Vermont Interactive Technologies at three sites: North Country Union High School in Newport, Lyndon State College, and Brattleboro Union High School.
The final session will be at Lyndon State College on April 6.
