I would absolutely love to play Gluttony! May I please reserve~?

"If one is born in a world that creates insanity, does being normal make them mad? Or is it those who fit in with the society that are the crazy ones? What is normality? What is insanity? If twins are such a rare occurrence in one world, does it make them strange, when they are so common in another? If a man grins all of the time, but others do too, does that make him a freak? There is only one freak, and that is the man that stands alone... Don't you agree?"

"Freakshow?"

Soup Recipes Guide ? Food and Drinks

Soup is a comfort food that can be found all over the world. Soup can cheer you up when you?re feeling under the weather, or help you fight the chill on a brisk day. Soup helps us to keep from overeating, but we are careful not to take too much soup. Soups are an excellent way to use leftover grains and beans. Soup is deliciously simple to prepare, quite a cheap meal idea, very nutritious and easy to digest. Soup makes a wonderful meal, and once you make a pot or two, you?ll discover it isn?t really that hard to make. Soups can serve as a main dish when they are hearty and filled with meats and vegetables. Soup can be transferred to a large bowl and kept covered in cling wrap in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, or frozen for future use. Soup helps you include lots of vegetables in your family?s diet.

Soup recipes are always popular but they seem to become even more so when the weather starts to cool down.

Soup recipes are versatile enough for any situation, on any day. Soup recipes are actually among the most forgiving of all when it comes to measurements, substitutions, etc. Soup recipes can be made for an appetizer, a lunch or dinner. Soup recipes are not necessarily used just for the winter time, or when you are sick. Soup recipes are warming, good for you and simple to make.

Soup recipes are usually stock or broth-based, like chicken noodle soup, or they can be creamy, like creamy mushroom soup. Chicken noodle soup is warming and pleasing and many of us have fond memories of the homemade chicken noodle soup we enjoyed as children.

Chicken soup can be enjoyed as an appetizer, as a meal in itself or as a comforting drink at any time of the day or night. Chicken soup comes in many varieties, including Asian, Mexican, Japanese, and Thai style soups and there are plenty of international stew recipes also. Chicken soup recipes are low in fat, even more so if you skim the fat from the top of the soup before serving. Chicken soup is cheap and easy to prepare, nutritious and easily digestible, making it a very good food for convalescing people. Chicken soup has been prescribed to cure colds, by draining nasal passages and through the blend of nutrients and vitamins that slow the growth of certain white cells. Cooking a bone in a chicken soup recipe can increase the amount of calcium in the soup recipe too.?

Acronyms as Trademarks | IP Spotlight

Last week a client contacted me and explained that many of its marketing materials refer to the company by its acronym rather than its full name. ?The client asked me about the pros and cons of registering the acronym as a trademark.

Almost on cue, after the call my email inbox received a message about a?new article by my colleague Seth Kramer entitled ?Use of Acronyms as Trademarks and Domain Names.? ?The article, published in the May 8, 2012 edition of the Legal Intelligencer, includes some important factors for companies to consider before registering an acronym as a trademark:

For starters, the company must actually use the acronym to distinguish its goods or services from those provided by others and indicate their source. ?Moreover, the acronym itself must have sufficient distinctiveness.

In addition, the article notes that ?[i]n the context of acronyms, it is important to note that a trademark?s strength is determined not by the acronym itself, but by the term it signifies.?

The article is available on the Legal Intelligencer website, linked here. ?(Subscription may be required for the full article.)

Natural Family Planning, or How Fosgood Finally Got Pregnant | The ...

So, I was finally ready to get pregnant. This was pre-internet so I actually had to find books on the subject or talk to people for information. I decided to try natural family planning to optimize the chances by tracking when I was most likely to be ovulating.

For those of you not familiar with this method, it has been around for centuries and is the only one approved by many religious organizations who forbid any other method of contraception. The premise is that by charting your cycle using a calendar and the change in cervical mucus and temperature, you are able to predict when you ovulate and can abstain from intercourse during that time. (If you?re interested, find out more information on the Planned Parenthood website.)

So armed with my new thermometer and fertility tracking chart, I got to work. Every morning for months, I would grab for the thermometer as soon as I was awake enough to remember and diligently record my morning temp on my chart. In theory, your body temp goes up a bit before you ovulate and stays that way until your next period. This never seemed to happen, but I did discover that my waking temperature, even in Florida, was about 95 to 96 degrees. No wonder I fell in love with the warmth of Florida when I visited from upstate New York during spring break in February. I?m just a few degrees above qualifying to be reptilian.

I also checked my cervical mucus every morning ? a process not for the squeamish. Besides stirring your finger around inside your vagina gathering mucus, you then have to examine the product between the inserted finger and another one to check the consistency. Here?s what our Planned Parenthood pamphlet Tracking Your Fertility Pattern to Prevent Pregnancy?has to say:

??Normal mucus is cloudy and tacky. It will become clear and slippery a few days before you ovulate. It will also stretch between your fingers. This happens on your most fertile days. These will be the tacky and cloudy and wet and slippery days after your period.?

Apparently my cervical mucus is also abnormal. I could rarely see that drastic a change and my husband got really tired of trying to help me decide if my mucus was cloudy, tacky, clear or sticky.

Despite my best efforts and 11 months of careful notes and charting, no pregnancy. Inching my way into my thirties at a time when 35 was considered old to begin a family, I became a bit panicky and decided to visit a fertility specialist. Since my husband was even more ancient than myself and heading into his mid-forties, we figured maybe his sperm count was the problem ? turns out his count was about double what was normal. After carefully examining my charts, the doctor suggested we have more sex earlier in the month. We had been saving ourselves for the middle of the month around day 14 just to make sure we had a full load when I was most likely to ovulate. But the very next month, despite my husband claiming I was trying to kill him, we conceived.

On the other hand, one of my midwives had used this method to prevent pregnancy. She had even abstained the entire week before when she was supposed to be in ?the danger zone? since she already was the mother of 3 and not planning any more. By the time I delivered, she was 5 months pregnant with number 4.

Before you rely on this method, which is reported to be 74 ? 99% effective, ask yourself, ?How much do I want to become pregnant?? If the answer is absolutely not, I would strongly suggest you look for a more reliable method.

US expels Syrian envoy: a clear message whose impact is dubious

Joining with its Western allies, the US ordered Syria's top diplomat in Washington to leave the country to protest a massacre of civilians that included executions.

By Anna Mulrine,?Staff writer / May 29, 2012

A US Secret Service police car passes by the Syrian Embassy in Washington on Tuesday, May 29. The US State Department is expelling Syrian envoy in Washington following a wave of deadly attacks on civilians in Syria over the weekend, an official said.

The United States joined other Western nations Tuesday in ordering the expulsion of Syrian ambassadors and diplomats in response to a brutal mass execution of more than 100 people in Houla, Syria, over the weekend. But analysts voiced skepticism that the move would spur change from the Syrian regime.

There was little debate about the savagery of the attack. A United Nations report found that fewer than 20 of the deaths could be attributed to tank and artillery fire. According to local witnesses and survivors who were interviewed by investigators, most of the other victims ?were summarily executed? by a pro-government paramilitary group, said?Rupert Colville, spokesman for the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

The United States joined Britain, Canada, France, Germany and Australia Tuesday in announcing the coordinated expulsion of Syrian diplomats, declaring them ?persona non grata.?

In Washington, the Syrian charge d?affaires, Zuheir Jabbour, was given 72 hours to leave the country, according to State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland.

But what, precisely, will be the impact of the expulsions?

?It certainly has a certain symbolism to it,? says Aram Nerguizian, a fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. ?It?s a clear message? to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Beyond that, however, ?It?s more an exercise in going through the motions,? Mr. Nerguizian argues. ?The Syrian ambassador has not been in the United States for quite some time, and expelling the charges d?affaires doesn?t have the same effect.? The Syrian ambassador took another post in 2011 and has never been replaced.

Indeed, though the message is ?loud and clear,? there are unlikely to be additional policy steps that will encourage Mr. Assad to halt the violence, he adds. While there will be continued pressure from the United States and others, as well as calls to support opposition forces, for the time being there is little appetite for further action among cash-strapped countries with little political capital to expend on further wars or incursions.

Still, leaders throughout the Western world said that they would push for tougher sanctions against Syria following the killings in the series of farming villages that make up Houla.

Other nations add they would not engage with Syria until it agrees to abide by a UN cease-fire plan.?

State Department spokeswoman Nuland, for her, part emphasizes that the US holds the Syrian government ?responsible for this slaughter of innocent lives.?

Gaspari Nutrition- MyoFusion - Muscle Works Magazine

When it comes to the REAL nutritional needs of bodybuilders and athletes alike, there is little doubt what ?legitimate? science has to say about the different protein sources available in the supplement marketplace. Unfortunately, this has little to do with the marketing message spread by most sellers of protein supplements today. The competition between companies is fierce and the drive to sell more protein by differentiating a product by any means necessary (whether it?s legitimate science or not) is prevalent to say the least. MyoFusion? delivers only the highest and most legitimately bioavailable proteins in existence ? hard and fast.

ScienceOnline2012 interview with Adam Regelmann

Every year I ask some of the attendees of the ScienceOnline conferences to tell me (and my readers) more about themselves, their careers, current projects and their views on the use of the Web in science, science education or science communication. So now we continue with the participants of ScienceOnline2012. See all the interviews in this series here.

Today my guest is Adam Regelmann (Quartzy, LinkedIn, Twitter).

Welcome to A Blog Around The Clock. Would you, please, tell my readers a little bit more about yourself? Where are you coming from (both geographically and philosophically)? What is your background? Any scientific education?

Geographically: Minneapolis -> New York City (College, MD, PhD at Columbia) -> St. Louis (Residency at Wash U) -> Palo Alto (co-founder at Quartzy)

Philosophically: After working for many years in biomedical research labs, I became resolved to make science move faster. I believe one of the big problems in science, in both academia and industry, is a lack of a standardized lab infrastructure. We use the scientific method to think about how to test our observations, but there is no ?laboratory method? for actually doing science.

Tell us a little more about your career trajectory so far: interesting projects past and present?

I have taken a somewhat circuitous route to my current life. I started my foray into Science as a 9th grader when I told my dad ?I want to work with white blood cells this summer?. He was a professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School. He asked one of his colleagues if I could work in her lab. She said yes, and I began my first research project ? examining the protease activity of of bronchial washings from patients with cystic fibrosis (CF). I found that better nourished CF patients had less proteolytic activity in their lungs than those with poorer nutrition. I was hooked, and, I spent the remainder of my high-school summers in the lab.

After high school, I attended Columbia University in New York and continued this summer tradition, working first for a chemistry professor, and then for a microbiologist. I published my first first-author paper with the microbiologist (biochemical analysis of a divalent cation sensor protein in E. coli and Salmonella), which was a wonderful feeling. I went on to complete an MD/PhD at Columbia, and during my research years I became increasingly aware and increasingly frustrated by the inefficiencies that plague scientific research.

I couldn?t believe that it was the 21st century and one of the best institutions in the country still used excel, whiteboards, paper and fax machines to coordinate daily activities in the lab. I started working on a project to help my lab, and when other labs became interested I realized that there was an immense need here. The big idea of coordinating all aspects of scientific research through a standardized online platform thrilled me, so my programmer-friend and I launched the system, called Quartzy with the aim of advancing research by making labs more efficient.

What is taking up the most of your time and passion these days? What are your goals?

Quartzy is a 24/7 job. Just ask my wife. I imagine a world where the pace of science is no longer dragged down by the inability to find the resources to do experiments. I would like for Quartzy to serve that purpose, which is why it?s free for scientists. I strongly believe that keeping Quartzy free is the only way for it to become the standard method for lab management. I would like scientists to be able to spend every dollar they have on actual experiments, not on lab management software.

Quartzy makes money from vendors. They can either have Quartzy host their catalogs, or participate in our marketplace, so users can buy directly from them through Quartzy. We also do some contract customization work. Over 12,000 scientists are on Quartzy. The cool thing is that as this number grows, the efficiency increases exponentially. For example, when a grad student leaves one lab and joins another, if both labs are on Quartzy the time it takes for her to start her new project is significantly lower since she?ll know where everything is.

What aspect of science communication and/or particular use of the Web in science interests you the most?

The development of web-based tools to enhance communication in the sciences is probably the most profound advance in the last decade. It has always been odd to me that the internet started as an instrument to allow scientists to efficiently communicate, but all the cool developments sprung up in the consumer sector, leaving the sciences in the dust. Although these new science-focused tools are all still in their youth, they have the power to completely disrupt every aspect of the scientific process from actually doing experiments to publishing results to peer review. The noise to signal ratio is a little high right now, since we?re in the ?Wild-west? days of this movement, but that?s also why it?s an extremely exciting time.

How does (if it does) blogging figure in your work? How about social networks, e.g., Twitter, Google Plus and Facebook? Do you find all this online activity to be a net positive (or even a necessity) in what you do?

Absolutely positive. These networks are vital to communicating with our users, but also vital to communication in general at this point in time. Science has never been done in a vacuum, and these networks allow people to rapidly discover information that could have taken months to learn about otherwise. At first, I was overwhelmed at the prospect of using these tools in science, but if used correctly they can be a huge asset. Twitter and Facebook are especially powerful because of the size of their respective networks. If you?re a scientist right now and you?re not using at least one of these tools, you are at a significant disadvantage.

When and how did you first discover science blogs? What are some of your favourites? Have you discovered any cool science blogs by the participants at the Conference?

I?m not sure when I discovered them. It was probably when doing research for my PhD. Two specific blogs that I was made aware of at Scio12 are The Artful Amoeba and The Mother Geek. Also, it was super cool to meet Jonathan Eisen at the conference, whose blog I?ve followed for a while.

What was the best aspect of ScienceOnline2012 for you? Any suggestions for next year? Is there anything that happened at this Conference ? a session, something someone said or did or wrote ? that will change the way you think about science communication, or something that you will take with you to your job, blog-reading and blog-writing?

Because of ScienceOnline2012, I will probably become more active on google+. A lot of people were talking it up there. As far as the conference itself goes: much of the conference focused on navigating the intersection of science and writing, or how to improve your writing, which was great, but I was thinking it might be cool to invite some scientists to actually present some of their new data and see how all the science writers in the room cover the same presentations.

Thank you! Hope to see you again in January.

Review: 2013 Dodge Dart: Hits the automotive bull's-eye

This article reviews the new (returning) Dodge Dart - An impressive joint American (Chrysler) and European (Fiat) effort that has resulted in a car that really hits the automotive bull?s-eye.
Many drivers remember the Dodge Dart from the 60s and 70s. Actually, the Dart was manufactured from 1960 to 1976. And after a long absence, the Dodge has returned.

So what does the new 2013 Dodge Dart have to offer?

It is a compact in name (it is actually the largest compact sedan on the market) front-wheel drive five-passenger four-door sedan.

The base engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder (developed with Mercedes and Hyundai) providing 160 hp and 148 ft. lb. of torque. Other engines include a 1.4-liter turbo four-cylinder providing 160 hp and 184 ft. lb. of torque and a 2.4-liter four-cylinder delivering 184 hp and 171 ft. lb. of torque. The transmission is a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic. Later this year, there will also be a six-speed dual-clutch (DDCT) transmission with shifting on the steering wheel Depending on the engine and transmission combination, the car?s 0-60 mph time is from 7.6 to 9.1 seconds.

The Dart?s wheelbase measures 106.4 inches and its curb weight is 3,200 to 3,350 lbs. depending on the engine, transmission and equipment. This car?s trunk offers 13.1 cubic feet of space, and the fuel tank holds 15.8 gallons. The car?s highway cruising range is 568 miles.

On the exterior this sedan has a clean, wide and modern look.

At the front the windshield is well raked and curved back (the car?s drag coefficient is .29 Cd). The hood is wide and smooth with raised edges. It also includes a recessed area running down the center. The headlights are large slanted units that curve back into the front fenders. The grille is large and blacked out with some light trim at the top. Black inserts that house round driving lights are at the corners.

The side profile of this four-door Dodge looks like a coupe as the roof extends well back. The rear window is fastback flat. The upper glass follows the roof?s theme and also stretches back. There is a rounded cut line just above the door handles and a recessed area at the bottom of the doors.

At the rear this sedan has a high but short trunk lid. The edge of the trunk extends several inches beyond the taillights. The taillights are horizontal units that are integrated in the trunk and rear fenders. There an insert that matches the taillight?s color. It is integrated in between the taillights with the Dodge name done chrome. To top it all off, the taillight area is concave. At the bottom there is a black insert with dual oval shaped exhausts at the corners.

On the interior the Dart has one of the nicest interiors in its class. The materials and their fit and finish are very good. The cabin is wide and provides the feeling of spaciousness. The driver sees an open gauge cluster that includes a half circle tachometer on the left, a round speedometer in the center and a partial circle fuel gauge at the right. The front seats are reasonably comfortable and supportive, however, some tall drivers might fine them mounted too high (best to check this out for your personal preference). There is an optional 8.4-inch touchscreen interface that provides entertainment and navigation. The system features easy to navigate, large buttons and a knob that allows quick and easy iPod menus. The rear legroom is good and the 40/60 split rear seat folds down to increase the cargo area.

The brakes are vented discs at all four corners measuring 12 inches at the front and 10.4 inches at the rear. The Dart?s 60-0 mph stopping distance is in 120 feet. The tires measure 205 55 16 inch. Larger wheels and tires are available.

The suspension is barrowed from the Alfa Romeo Giulietta. At the front it includes MacPherson struts, coil springs, gas shock absorbers and a stabilizer bar. At the rear the setup includes multi-links, coil springs, gas shock absorbers and a stabilizer bar.

Standard features on this Dodge include dual driver and passenger climate control, fold flat passenger seat, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, audio controls on the steering wheel, power door locks, windows and mirrors, remote power door locks, cruise control, variable intermittent wipers, front cupholders, remote trunk release, rear defogger, external temperature display, electronic speed-proportional power steering, 12 volt power outlets, interior air filtration, 4-speaker AM/FM in-dash single CD player, auxiliary MP3 audio input and more.

Standard safety features include four-wheel ABS brakes, front and rear head air bags, dual front and dual rear side-mounted air bags, passenger air bag occupant sensing deactivation, child seat anchors, rear door child safety locks, engine immobilizer, daytime running lights, auto delay off headlights, stability and traction control, electronic brake force distribution, tire pressure monitoring and more.

The fuel rating for the Dodge Dart is 25 city and 36 mpg highway.

On the road the Dodge Dart is European buttoned down and its handling is taunt and precise. The steering is nicely weighted and it is easy for the driver to point the car. The Dart?s refinement is good and its ride quality is impressive. Highway cruising is no problem for this sedan. All in all, this Dodge provide a sporty and highly pleasing drive

The base price of the 2013 Dodge Dart is $16,790.

The 2013 Dodge Dart combines the best of America (Chrysler) and European (Fiat) automotive engineering. It is a sporty and fun to drive sedan that offers good space, many features and style (flair) for the money.

All in all, the Dodge Dart is a very impressive sedan that really hits the automotive bull?s-eye!

UPDATE 1-Renaissance unit Topaz inks phase one of debt plan

Sun May 27, 2012 12:11pm BST

* Topaz signs $203 mln loan deal as part of refinancing plan

* 7-yr deal, secured against shipping vessels - source

* Phase two of $330 mln plan expected later in 2012 (Adds detail, share price)

DUBAI, May 27 (Reuters) - Topaz Energy and Marine, a unit of Oman's Renaissance Services, has signed the first phase of a $330 million refinancing loan agreement with banks, its parent said in a statement to the bourse on Sunday.

The plan totals $203 million and was arranged and financed by Standard Chartered, DVB Bank and First Gulf Bank, the statement from Renaissance said.

The transaction is a seven-year shipping finance deal, secured against the company's vessels, a banking source familiar with the transaction said. The source, requesting anonymity, added talks were ongoing with three to four other parties about joining the facility.

"Stripping out the engineering unit into a separate company was a good move. The marine part has got healthy cashflows so we're comfortable backing it," the source said.

The plan will refinance Topaz's existing borrowings and releases $60 million in trapped equity.

Topaz operates mainly in the Middle East, North Africa and Caspian Sea region, running a fleet of 100 offshore support vessels.

A $57 million second phase is planned for later this year, according to a Chairman's Report on first-quarter results, and Vishal Goenka, Renaissance group's chief financial officer said that international and regional banks were interested.

United Arab Emirates - based Topaz appointed banks in November to lead the refinancing initiative.

It was hit by a $2.9 million fraud scandal last August, and prior to that, in March, forced to pull a London listing amid valuation concerns and regional unrest.

The company originally said it was seeking $380 million for refinancing, and expected the deal to close by the end of last year.

Its operating profit fell to 5.8 million rials ($15.06 million) in the first quarter, from 8.8 million rials in the prior-year period according to financial statements.

Shares in Renaissance ended 1 percent lower on Sunday. The stock is down 5.5 percent this year, after slumping over 50 percent in 2011. ($1 = 0.3850 Omani rials) (Reporting by David French and Rachna Uppal; Editing by Dinesh Nair)

By Bassem Tellawi, AP

Syria's Foreign Ministry spokesman Jihad Makdissi denied on Sunday that government troops were behind an attack on villages.

Friday's assault on Houla, an area northwest of the central city of Homs, was one of the bloodiest single events in Syria's 15-month-old uprising.

Jihad Makdissi told reporters in Damascus at a Sunday news conference that Syria is being subjected to a "tsunami of lies" blaming the government. He said anti-government gunmen carried the attack.

"We categorically deny the responsibility of government forces for the massacre," Makdissi said.

Makdissi says a committee was sent to investigate the case and results should be out within three days.

He added that U.N. envoy Kofi Annan will be in Syria on Monday.

More than 500 million people live close to volcanoes that could erupt with little or no clear warning, causing widespread devastation and even global effects on climate, as in the case of the?1991 eruption of Mount Pinatubo. Although scientists keep an eye on many of the world's volcanoes for ground movements, gas emissions and other signs of unrest, volcanologists still face challenges directly linking surface activity with volcanic plumbing changes deep underground.

To learn more about volcanic activity in an effort to help predict it, researchers investigated the magma from within volcanoes. Crystals often grow within magma chambers, large crevices of searing hot fluid rock beneath volcanoes.

"Crystals can be thought of like a book," said researcher Kate Saunders, a volcanologist at the University of Bristol in England. "If we understand how to read them, they contain vital information on formation of the magma." Changes in magma behavior recorded in crystals might in turn shed light on volcanic activity. [World's 5 Most Active Volcanoes]

Crystal growth

Crystals within magma often grow in concentric zones. This makes them like tree rings ? thin ones reflect times of little growth, while thick ones represent much growth. Each zone also has a subtly distinct chemical makeup that mirrors changes in physical conditions within magma chambers, thus giving clues on internal volcanic activity.

Saunders and her colleagues analyzed orthopyroxene crystals within volcanic rocks taken from nine different eruptions at Mount St. Helens in Washington state, from 1980 to 1986. The volcano is best known for its?spectacular eruption in 1980.

The researchers discovered the rims of the crystals typically grew within 12 months of each eruption. Peaks in crystal growth were linked with?increased earthquake activity?and flow of sulfur dioxide gas at the volcano.

"Such a correlation between crystal growth and volcanic seismicity has been long anticipated, but to see such clear evidence of this relationship is remarkable," Saunders told OurAmazingPlanet.

Volcano vital signs

Although this work cannot lead scientists to predict the time and day of an eruption, "the more we understand the internal workings of a volcano, the better idea we have," Saunders said. "You wouldn't ask a doctor to predict the exact time of someone's death. However, by monitoring a patient's vital signs, they are able to provide a much more thorough diagnosis.

"The same is also true with volcanoes. The more we know about the processes that occur beneath them and the time scales over which these occur, the better we can anticipate their behavior and?timing of future eruptions."

The researchers hope to examine other volcanoes and compare their results with other volcano-monitoring techniques.

The best plan, Saunders said, may be to collect rocks from eruptions "50 years, 100 years, 1 million years ago and interrogate these samples to investigate whether the volcano is behaving in a similar predicable manner and whether we can use this knowledge to help us to watch for similar signs in the monitoring record."

Saunders and her colleagues detailed their findings in the May 25 issue of the journal Science.

Family: The Importance of Regular Communication and How to Achieve It
Are you a woman who has a family that includes a romantic partner, spouse, or children? If you do, your life may be complicated at best. For many women, especially those who are trying to work and raise a family at the same time, a lot of issues arise. With relationships, one of those issues is often a lack of communication. If you and your partner are currently experiencing a lack of communication, this is a problem that you will want to try and fix as soon as possible.
One of the many reasons why it important for you to have an open line of communication with your partner is due to the elimination or reduction of misunderstandings. While it is common for many couples to fight and occasionally even on a regular basis, you may be surprised to learn just how many arguments are attributed to miscommunication. By having an open line of communication with your romantic partner, you are less likely to experience these types of arguments or disagreements. In terms of your relationship, an open line of communication may actually help to keep it alive.
